In 1950, Alan Turing considered the question ‘can machines think?’ At our 2024 End of Year Event our Guest Speaker and Director, Professor Michael Small asked ‘what are we actually looking for when we talk about machines being intelligent?’
Michael was joined by UWA Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) Professor Andrew Page and together they captivated 100+ attendees from across industry and academia with insights, thought provoking examples and a few laughs as they looked at how we can use data and tools to do something useful and intelligent.
