Remote Sensing of Vegetation Dynamics

Summary: The UWA Remote Sensing of Vegetation Dynamics Group is a team of researchers based at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering within the School of Engineering at The University of Western Australia. We study ecosystem dynamics, especially plant growth, using satellite remote sensing and ground observations. Our specialties include vegetation parameter retrieval; carbon dynamics; vegetation phenology and shifting seasonality with climate variability; land surface responses and their interactions with climate; and land use activities and major disturbance events.
